More Time for Delivery

Description
Hello!

This simple mod does a simple thing - it increases the time you have for your ingame deliveries. You can use your free time any way you like - spending it exploring new roads, obeying speed limits, or maybe your truck is just too slow.

Any reason given, this mod is your solution.

Default SCS average speed (used for delivery time deadline calculations): 62 km/h
New game speed: 42 km/h (as for v.1.0)

Known issues:
- this mod conflicts with other economy mods, so you have to make a choice
- your hired drivers are now slower
- does not affect WOT jobs (not sure if it's an actual problem).

Mod manager priority: any; I'd recommend installing it above any mods that might include economy_data.sii file (map mods for example).

Game version: tested in 1.50 and 1.51 but might work with other versions too (not guaranteed though).

ATS version: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3255411301

Works fine in 1.56 here, no issues, ATS and ETS2

I just turned this mod on, and my game booted successfully with no crashes/errors/warnings

this mod is intended to work with any future patches, and thus I will only examine exact reports with exact problems

and yes - this will NOT destroy your game and/or savefiles even if it crashes on startup, so you can easily check everything yourself

1.56 please

thanks for confirming, while I'm a little busy with other mods :104:

So far so good 1.55 ATS

@User, works fine with 1.54

1.54?

exactly, because I (and other modders) have to change the whole file, no way the change one single value separately, unfortunately :facepunch:

on the other hand it's always better for drivers to "build" the economy_data file in a custom way - putting a desired average speed, adjusting other values taking them from other mods for exactly

I just wish there were a way to work with values of such files without need replacing it all... (actually it's possible if it were split in separate modules with unique file instances...)

So, really, the only issue that might come from an update would be if the base file itself is changed?
PikPikker  [author] 14 Jun @ 9:04pm
FindFloppies is absolutely correct - this mod only changes that single line - and more than that you can put any value there to your liking, also with any other economy mod too (or any other mod which replaces economy_data)
