Age of Charlemagne Grand Campaign

Description
This mod ports the Age of Charlemagne factions, units, and lore to the vanilla grand campaign map.

It features a complete reskin of AOC units, using historical sources, manuscripts of the era, and some imagination.

+ custom units and regional mercenaries, scripted historical events, late game viking invasions, as well as many UI improvements.

This project started as a mix of two other mods, the now deleted AOC grand campaign mod by Euro-Centric Military Historian, and the Anno Domini 919 mod, with the permission of their creators.

Most of the updates since release were done thanks to the creativity and suggestions of the community.

DLCs are only required for playing with celts, slav, viking, lombard and muslim factions in grand campaign.

Load mods in this order :

- Age of Charlemagne Grand campaign mod
- AD 919 old backup version

Compatibility:

Compatible with Apollo, Mars, Venus, MK1212 music mod, performance maker for massive battles mod.

Not compatible with mods changing the campaign script and/or UI.
As for AI and gameplay mods, compatibility depends on their file structure. They're likely to cause issues.

Known bugs :
- Crash happens when hovering mouse over italian cities buildings at turn1 (fix itself next turn)
- Wrong advisor audio message at the start of Abassid caliphate campaign
- CTD on Croats turn, only fix atm is to go back to a previous save

I have a request I dont know if anyone else is sharing my own idea but the byzantine bearers are wearing some kind of a leopard skin on top of their heads i dont know it seems a bit unhistoricaly for the period and it takes me away from immersion what people think ? should you maybe replace it with something more historical ? Anyway the mod is very nice good job with it. Just you know small things that maybe you can improve in the future.

well, nomads werent famous for their fleet, but idk man, its total war, raaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, but we def need some new portraits for the plain-looking vanilla leaders, like the khazar one, or even charlemagne

was thinking about polishing those steppe factions that didnt get much attention until now. should they be able to create navies tho, besides small transport ships? open question

CTD in a battleanyone else had this occur i was just moving the camera in a battle and then it crashed

what year is the victory objectives meant to be completed by is it actually 919ad?
