Yeah 12-16h at pc totally know what you mean man, myself as a full-time web developer as an official job that's like 6-8h daily (if not project deadlines with 12h+ crunch times) and add on top of that this passionate hobby which is another 4-8h (if not entering a flow state which can also be 12h+), that's quite a toll on ones organism haha
Yup that self-perfectionism can be a real enemy here, the Pareto principle 80/20 keeps on proving itself again and again
Since I've already spent like 1000+ hours on this project, then burned out and stuck on the 3d models part, I needed a 2nd project just to keep me in mapping overall, thats where I started Guild. So basically I'm trying to stabilize Guild in terms of layout in the playtesting phase now and then it would be best to switch back to Freya. Knowing my weakness in staying at one thing for too long and losing the taste for it, I need to make such ping pong moves just to keep me going.

It is just currently on hold as I have yet to learn 3d modelling for custom assets needed on the map (Norway windows, doors, doorframes etc.) and I keep postponing it for a long time. Since I've already come a long way solo with this I'm still at a dilemma whether I just give up on this part for the sake of finishing it and just find a collab with a 3d modeller or I actually enter the frey here once more and do all the modelling too. Guess I'll have to give myself an ultimatum for the next 3 months to arrive at a resolution. It would be perfect coming out on this years christmas holidays instead of rotting idle on the workshop.
