Description
I present to you the mod “Geyser Activity”, which adds a new event to the game.

Steam geysers are a sign of volcanic activity, right? Then sometimes existing geysers should disappear, and new ones should appear. And if at the beginning it is not critical, then by the middle of the game it can become a problem. Especially if all geysers disappear from the map.... A separate trouble is that if you have already put a generator on the steam geyser, it will be destroyed in the process of collapse and disappearance of the geyser.

On the other hand, you may get lucky and nature will be favorable to you and may even give you 1 additional geyser or even more.

The event is made rare enough with the same frequency as the “volcanic winter” event.

Pairs well with my other mod, Geyser Drill.

I made this mod specifically to diversify the game a bit in the mid to late stages and to make the power supply from steam geyser generators more vulnerable.

@szmtex Sorry it took so long — family, kids (4), work.
Remove geysers? Cover them up, bury them, spend resources and maybe even work at a loss just for a nice lawn in front of the house? Damn! How did I not think of that myself. Added it to my to-do list.

@ggerom damn I never thought you will actually do it and its almost exactly as I wanted. Does Geyser drill also have something to remove existing ones or only drilling new one?

Already installed 1.6 — now I just need to tear myself away from the new DLC and get it done! Will definitely get to it soon :)
