Description
*There's trouble brewing in the little village of Sandy Knolls. Sheep are being killed by an elusive monster, and nobody knows how to stop the massacre.
The timid Mikke Oresund, envoy for the village elders, managed to find not the heroes he needed, nor those he deserved, but those broke enough to accept any job. In other words, you.
Will you be able to uncover the truth behind the fleece?*

#KEY FEATURES#

Type: Story driven
Playtime: 5-10 hours (short)
Difficulty: Normal
Starting Level: 1
Maximum Level Reached: 6
Arachnophobia: just a tiny bit

#MAIN HIGHLIGHTS#

- Skill checks, skill checks everywhere (but Medicine is still a trap)
- You can severely alter key fights by debating with our foes
- 4 different endings (plus a "secret" one)
- Over 80 custom monsters and NPCs
- 1 original song, but you'll have to make up the music yourself
- Includes a world map, but no random encounters (all my homies hate random encounters)
- Uses assets from The Lost Valley and Palace of Ice DLCs

WARNING: this campaign contains questionable jokes, foul language, sexual innuendos, depictions of drugs abuse, gratuitous violence, ultra-violence and super-duper-ultra-violence, depictions of suicide, and - worst of all - pop music.
It also involves political statements, breaks the 4th wall here and there, and contains an inane amount of quotes from real-life. Players discretion is advised

#FINAL WORDS#

I really hope you enjoy your escapades in this Tier 1 module.
oSaM is a love project, started from the idea of "digitizing" 2 one-shot adventures I wrote some years back, with the addition of a good chunk of original content.

As usual, excuse the (assured) typos and (possible) bugs. I *think* I tested most of the corner cases, but IF SOMETHING BREAKS FOR YOU, PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Very enjoyable. Good way to spend a rainy Sunday.

Enjoyed the 4th wall break and the reference to Lilarcor from BG2

Frattaglia, I finished -- and enjoyed it, as always. Funny and tongue-in-cheek. I'm here for it.

@whatiflobstersruled thank you!

about that final puzzle (you are right it's the last): no need to find anything in the above areas. You should just backtrack to the "Shrine to Arun" - it's where you reenter the underground lab after fighting Iliixia - where you can find an "Arunite prayer book" which explains the ritual.
Not sure about the buttons you found, there should just be a few in the lab and they open/close the nearby grates

Happy (sheep) hunting!

Clever adventure, @Frattaglia! I always enjoy your creations, and how deliberately you integrate Solasta lore -- complex fantasy worlds are a favorite of mine.

That said, I'm currently stuck in the presumably last part, the underground complex. Namely, I am stumped by the Arun prayer puzzle: To my knowledge, there is no information about the prayer in the underground complex; I did not check earlier when I was above, and I can apparently not return to above. I cannot open any of the remaining locked doors. (I will also say, when I clicked on the wall buttons, nothing happened. The other buttons all made a CLICK sound, and the screen text acknowledged that a door was opening somewhere. Not so with one of mine...

I am not "sheepish" at all in saying this was a fantastic adventure from start to finish. Very well written and planned out. Deeply enjoyable and absolutely nothing "Baaa"d to say about it. There were some surprises and you were able to pull the "wool" over my eyes on occasion. The module was intuitive with no unnecessary "Shepherding" of the player. "Shear" fun!

@shalinoth thanks mate :steamhappy:

@Zoli there are several ways:
1 - positioning: don't give them a straight line to hit more than 1 PC at a time
2 - positioning: you know where they come from. You can pre-position someone to get in their face on turn 1
3 - protection (from lightning) if you have a way to
4 - CC: they have a decent dex but not a very good wis save (and the others are crap). Also, they are squarely in the range of a 2nd level Sleep. Silence will force them to move and lose at least a round. Silence + Spike growth is a death sentence. Entangle + move the fuck away means they are out of the fight forever
5 - realize they are a threat and nova them. With decent initiative they should bite the dust before their first action

Thanks for the game! A fun little romp.
I drank the scary potion but resisted the final urge!

"Difficulty: Normal"
How am I supposed to defeat the groups led by 5th level magic users when my party is only level 3? A single lightning bolt deals as much damage my party members have and the goblin wizard shoots 2 of these through the wall of the cave, plus their warriors. And there is no door to leave the mines and seek other ways.

@charles_watkins I honestly haven't tested it with a custom party size, but this module has no teleporters and I (usually) pay attention to leave space for the pause-tech... so it is a resounding Yeah, possibly.

In case you get stuck, just let me know
