Description

В 1931 году в Ленинграде для грузовика ЗиС-5 был разработан комплект для передвижения по рельсам.
Он представлял собой набор железнодорожных колёс, которые устанавливались на ступицы грузовика взамен штатных.
Процедура «переобувания» занимала менее получаса. Аналогичный комплект был создан и для ГАЗ-АА.
Оба широко использовались в годы Великой Отечественной войны.

Мощность двигателя - 73 л.с. (54 кВт).
Максимальная скорость - 60 км/ч.
Снаряжённая масса — 3075 кг
Грузоподъёмность: — 3000 кг
Доступен с 1933 по 1948 в разделе поезда.

Машины такого типа правильно называть техника на комбинированном ходу или автомобильно-железнодорожное транспортное средство.
Но чаще, для их обозначения, используется локомобиль или немецкое zweiweg.

In 1931, in Leningrad, a kit for traveling on rails was developed for the ZiS-5 truck.
It was a set of railway wheels that were installed on truck hubs instead of standard ones.
The “changing shoes” procedure took less than half an hour. A similar kit was created for GAZ-AA.
Both were widely used during the Great Patriotic War.

Maximum speed - 60 km/h.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find photos or plueprints of BT tanks on rails.
I don't plan to make this vehicle.

Would suggest that also putting BT-2/5/7 on tracks, I remember seeing articles about some rural area in Siberia had used them as locomotive during mid 1940s till early 1950s as temporary replacement of locomotive, as BT tanks were so obsoleted form fighting on battlefields but the special ability of the tank can powering itself after removing treads made them suitable to be work as light shaunters locomotive to pull one or two cars for short to mid range usage and act as railroad patrolling units.
