Description
More bot friendly nav meshes.

Contains a few changes to the nav meshes of
  • The Last Stand chapter 1 (to let the bots press the crane button and not get stuck at the truck)
  • The Parish chapter 4 (bots no longer get stuck trying to jump between the two balconies)
  • Dead Center chapter 2 (bots can get the van shortcut while delivering the cola bottles)
  • The Parish chapter 5 (bots can get the fence shortcut at the end of the map)

Is this mandatory with Left 4 Bots 2?
Only if you want to use the automation feature on The Last Stand chapter 1 because the vanilla navmesh doesn't let the bots jump on the crane to press the button.
The others are just optional improvements.

On the big tower thing during Parish Chapter 2's crescendo event, there is a metal bar just next to the second ladder up, part of the scaffolding, which the bots fail to navigate over

Hey smilzo, in some campaigns (official and custom), one of them will always end up heading back to the starting safehouse for some reason.

Update: after Navfixes was unsubscribed and multiple game restarts, bots still get stuck on the pillars of Death Toll Boathouse, however, the issue did not happen when I launched a game before the mods (including L4B2) finished loading, indicating either a conflict issue or (I heavily suspect) a bug with L4B2. Sadly my volume of addons make it unrealistic to undo every one and check, so it will be appreciated if someone who has a clean(er) installation tries this.

I have also encountered the bots stuck issue, which can be easily replicated by spawning into the Boathouse of Death Toll survival and running up the stairs to the level 2 balcony. There is a moderate change that bots won't follow you up and will faceplant into the supporting pillars. (If it doesn't happen, restart the survival round and try again).This appears when I have both Navfixes and L4B2 installed, tomorrow I'll uninstall navfixes and see if only L4B2 will cause the same problem to figure out if it's an issue with NavFixes or the bots themselves.

I can confirm. Bots get stuck trying weird routes in Dead Air. They get stuck on random stuff in both official and custom campaigns.

With this mod, the bots get stuck REPEATEDLY on random stuff, not only in official campaigns, but also on custom campaigns
