[LTS]Biosphere

Description

[ko-fi.com]

Biosphere transforms the way your colony connects with the natural world. From strange, cave flora to practical crops for your fields, this mod introduces a diverse range of plants be it alien or those we're familiar with that feel right at home in your colony. Unique aquatic species now thrive in rivers and along shorelines, bringing life and variety to previously bland waterscapes. Whether you're cultivating new crops or managing vibrant ecosystems, Biosphere brings fresh depth to every corner of your environment.

Water-Based Plants: A variety of aquatic plants that naturally grow in water, adding depth and beauty to rivers, lakes, and shorelines.
Aquatic Growing Zones: Designate special water growing zones to cultivate aquatic flora, enhancing your farming options.
Buildable Paddies and Waterbeds: Construct paddies and waterbeds using water buckets, or waterskins if Medieval Overhaul is loaded, to create the perfect environment for your water-loving crops.
New Trees: Introduces various tree species, including alien-looking trees, fruit-bearing trees, and the mystical Mistveil tree, adding diversity to your forests and farmlands.
Potted Plants: Decorate your colony with potted plants, some of which emit a gentle glow in darklight or a soft, colored light, enhancing the ambiance of your spaces.
Nectarleaf Plant: Grow the Nectarleaf, a unique plant used to craft Firesap, a potent drug that can be utilized in various ways.
Cave Flora: Cultivate a special growable cave plant that provides an additional food source, suitable for the dark and damp environments of caves.
Glowing Night Plants: Encounter plants that glow softly at night in rivers, adding a touch of luminescent beauty to the dark hours.
Water Lilies, Cattails: Populate your water bodies with natural aquatic flora like water lilies and cattails, enriching the landscape with their serene presence.
Hearty Stews: Cook up delicious stews using the new ingredients provided by the Biosphere mod, giving your colonists a nutritious and satisfying meal option.
Buildable Wells: Construct wells for a steady water supply, with minor support for Dubs mods.
And more...

Q: How can I report bugs or ask for help?
A: Comment down below, or report it over at our discord, make sure to include your player log files if any.

Q: How does this work with regrowth and other mods that add water plants?
A: Quite frankly, it cares not and it does not affect vanilla behavior whatsoever so it should be compatible with everything. However, if another mod adds their own code to add watery plants, then ofc, my mod will still try to spawn plants on water regardless of that mod. However, it wont try to plant on places where plants already exists soooo it should be compatible with those mods regardless. Most of my plants are biome specific though and will only spawn there but some are set to spread across all biomes. This means, it should add some of my plants to modded biomes if my mod is loaded after that mod in the mod list. If this is good or bad is up for you to decide.

Your habit of not posting any screenshots is so strange

I get so many "Config error in" errors from this mod. Seems there are just massive amounts of required definitions missing from many XMLs, was this tested for 1.6? I can make an official bug report but there is no public github I can find, this is the only place I can see to leave any sort of feedback. I tried joining the discord but the invite is expired so I can't join that even.

This mod was a huge surprise when I tried it. The description and images don't do it justice - the new plants are absolutely gorgeous, and feel like they belong (albeit in the high end of the power spectrum), and the balance seems good so far. No cons, this is just a great mod that I'll be keeping around from now on. Thanks for making it!

没有任何红色报告,但确实无法在水里正确生成植物,淡水海水都没有,只有泥地里会少量生成正确的物种

The "aquatic planting zones not working" bug has been around for ages, and I think it's a compatibility issue between this and Vanilla Enhanced. It was happening on the previous game version as well.

Can confirm pawns are not sowing/planting the water based plants in the water zone, they only clean/remove plants inside the zone.
