Clear Universe

Description
Not updated for content added in 8.00 and later. This means that most of universe will be cleared except for what's added in 8.00 and later, and so over time this mod will drift more from ideal state, however it should mostly work.

Please feel free to take on this mod and update it more, right now I don't have much time to work on it.


Each faction starts with only few sectors - enjoy universe developing from almost nothing! Xenon are in Emperor's Pride.

For untouched Xenon, see "Clear Universe w Xenon" mod. For xenon defense station in every empty sector, try "Clear Universe w Max Xenon" mod.

Station and production default limits are increased, so few populated sectors will have high station density!

Terran Cadet start works well, I haven't fully tested other starts.

Mod compatibility: this mod either removes or moves stations in core game and official DLCs (via remove and replace diff god.xml file), so shouldn’t clash with other mods unless they specifically touch same vanilla stations.

Recommend following mods:
- jobs shuffle - makes sure that ship jobs also work outside their DLC areas https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2970210602

- Free Families, as they don't expand, still retain original sectors.
- Sanctuary of Darkness and Watchful Gaze are now claimable from beginning (which allows Boron to expand past core sectors)

(it's relatively easy work but takes lots of testing and digging for what was added in 8.00 or later, so if i update this, i'll do it with other clear universe mods as well)

I've added the update that i won't be able to work on this mod for a while :( however it will still work, it just won't touch on 8.00 and later changes, which thankfully are currently mostly empty and neutral station sectors.

is there a way to make this mod prority over other mods? ;_; I want to have a "clear start" but cant' right now

@L.A.R.R.Y. yes they do, they are expanding and building stations to claim sectors, but without xenon they claim like everything and expanding really fast, which was the reason i startet with the "max xenon" version

@Valar Morghulis I assume you're talking about Clear Universe Max Xenon with Xenon Everywhere, right? I was thinking of using Clear Universe with Xenon (default Xenon placements)

Could you perhaps elaborate on how the economy develops? Do the factions keep expanding, building more shipyards and stations, etc.?

I personally didn't enjoy this version as much as the xenon with station everywhere. In my first playthrough with this version the Xenon did get stuck in Emperor's Pride, because the Terran Intervention Fleet was beelining directly to it. Afterwards I switched to the other mod, which worked out way better.

Eco is kinda rough at start, so i'd recommend a custom start with 1 or 2 stations and a few miners to help your faction kickstart.

Can anyone share their experience? I want to try this mod. Does everything function properly? How is the economy, etc.?
