TREKORION: Klimov-Class Command Cruiser | Tri (8 Slots)

The USS Klimov, originally a Bulwark-Class Battlecruiser, was lost with all hands in 2207 while shielding evacuating civilian ships during a mutinous uprising from within another UCSN Bulwark; the USS Obstinate, which would go on to belong to a radical group under the Free States.

Due to the bravery of her crew, the first ship in this upgraded Hyperion production line was named the Klimov, and as such the ship class followed in her name.

Wider wings to fit more systems, four fighter/shuttle bays, a dedicated command bridge, and prototype shielding which can exist in this confusing region of space. With all the advancements, only six were produced with only one crew going mutinous during the brief civil war and separation into several new factions, culminating in the Kursu Sovereignty and the Free States. With the remaining five ships still serving within the UCSN, they're fielded as flagships of the admiralty and are some of the only ships capable of surviving off of the warp ways for extended periods of time without being serviced. That capability leading to their reputation as the ultimate pirate busters, being able to jump within weapons range and wipe out swaths of pirates with their overwhelming, sundering firepower.
