TREKORION: Njord-Class Refit | Fe/Ti (4 Slots)

The Njord line spans many ships, but a government on a budget can only hope to upgrade what they have themselves, so an initiative was born during the restructuring of the UCSN: modernize and reintegrate. The Njord-Class began as a civilianized rerun of the original NX-Class from United Earth's Starfleet, but would go on to be re-iterated upon officially and see many unofficial upgrades throughout the decades it served. One of these upgrades was simply titled "Njord Refit", which expanded the weapons array and added two more torpedo tubes, as well as stripping the nacelles off of aging Endeavors and reworking them with large impulse manifolds at the rear to assist in subwarp travel times due to KRAC's bizarre subspace geometry.

This refit would go on to serve in the strike groups of the UCSN, leading wings of Kroznikov Attack Ships on planetary outposts and asteroid stations operated by pirates and warring factions. Though operationally a command ship, it serves more as a heavy ordinance brawler that can be rotated from front to front on a dime.
