Description

A character pool of 290 soldiers based on characters from various game and film franchises! Every tier of armor (Kevlar/Predator/Warden) is defined for each character to have distinct visual progression as armor is upgraded, so there is no need to re-customize soldiers after upgrades.

Character pool only. No mods are included.

Requires all of the mods from the Hero Pool v5 mod collection (482 mods, ~28 gigabytes). Some of these mods require that you use the Alternative Mod Launcher (AML)[github.com] for best results.

Requires War of the Chosen, Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters, Resistance Warrior Pack, and Tactical Legacy Pack DLC.

This pool will work on its own, but items from missing mods/DLC will be replaced with random alternatives on those soldiers.

This version includes nearly all characters from Hero Pool v4, so it is NOT necessary to import both pools. Missing characters can be individually imported from v4 by subscribing to both mods and finding those soldiers in 'Hero Pool v4', but they will only have Tier 1 customization.

Recommended Mods
These are not included in the requirements, but are strongly recommended:
Clean Soldier Generation- prevents resistance fighters and other randomly generated soldiers from spawning with random amalgamations of mod parts.
Use My Class- forces the game to use the character's class that was assigned in the character pool when promoting a rookie or generating a mission reward soldier.

How to Import a Pool
At the opening screen click CHARACTER POOL
Click the IMPORT CHARACTER button at the top
From the list click Hero Pool v5
From here you can either click IMPORT ENTIRE POOL at the very top, or click on a specific character in the list to import it
Once the characters you want are in the Active Pool, go to the bottom of the screen and make sure that Character Pool Usage is set to Character Pool Only: this will force the game to use all the characters from the pool before it starts randomly generating them.
The characters will now begin to appear in your game. At this point the mod can be safely disabled/removed - the characters you imported will remain unaffected in your Active Pool.

What if I don't want to use all characters and only want to download this for some of them? Will the mod not work if I try to download this with the rest of the required mods?

I just want to recreate the Payday gang without having to be assed to manually apply each cosmetic part

Great Collection adds flavor to the game but I get really long loading is there any way to shorten it? I would disable some mods but I fera that might broke others

@DylonGrape are you using Alternative Mod Launcher (AML) [github.com]? If the game isn't working at all with AML, it might just be that your system is being overwhelmed trying to load all the cosmetic mods. The character pool itself takes a minute or two to load sometimes because of the size of it, but it could be that it just won't work on your PC. I'm not sure what the problem could be, but if you need to uninstall, you can disable all the mods at once by going to the Hero Pool collection at the top of this page and clicking the button that lets you unsubscribe from all of them. Let me know if any of that helps.
