WHAT IS FANTASY UNLEASHED?

Fantasy Unleashed is an overhaul to Noberia that includes different features, spell casting, monsters and biomes that'll juice up the magical aspect. With plenty of classic fantasy d&d icons and ideas. It aims to flesh out the game with colourful additions to make your adventure more enjoyable.

DEFENSIVE ADDITIONS
With new siege equipment, defensive floor traps and even supportive props; comes a new set of ways for defending settlements. Slow your enemies down while you shoot from a distance. Hit them with bleed before they even come close. Or block out the skies with raining mortar fire.
These additions are a very much needed add to fend off the new creatures and invasions! Buckle up.

A NEW BIOMES (AND MORE TO COME)
A whole new biome with new foliage, creatures and resources, bringing some more life to Noberia. Rich in resource, though dangerously flooded with creatures not to trifle with!

CREATURES, MONSTERS AND THINGS OF THE NIGHT
Plenty of hulking behemoths, creepy crawlies and magical creatures that add depth to the new biomes and already existing ones.
Most creatures will be tame-able or buy-able but some being costly on the ranching skill.

A lot of the monsters are prior mods from Plum, though their focus will now be entirely on this mod. Eventually re-designs will come for what we feel will be needed!
All creatures have also been added into the already existing biomes naturally where we would think they would fit.

SPELLS AND ABILITIES
Spell casting and arcane magic is what we have added into the ability screen. Diving into aggressive spell casting to help you fight off the newly added invasions and creatures or protecting your weak fighters with healing and buffs.
New abilities are also included which add more depth into progressively building up your characters to be much stronger and saturated with Fantasy themed traits. All this is very much needed to fight off the new threats. Beware as your enemies may learn to harness these powers for themselves!



Initially we would like to see how the mod works out for everyone; fixing any major issues that quickly come about, stat changes and balancing. We have tested it a considerate amount however we are sure there is something we will miss or not get right.

We hopefully want to work on the mod continuously and update it, adding more content as we go. Plums prior fantasy creatures WILL NOT BE WORKED ON/UPDATED anymore as his focus will be on these overhaul mods.

If people request in certain aspects of the mod to be separate from 'Fantasy Unleashed' then we can also look at that.
In the near future, these are things we would love to include or add more of:

  • FANTASY biomes!
  • Plenty more races!
  • Visual Magic / Status Effects
  • Dragon attacks (oh ye)!
  • Plenty more interesting creatures!
  • More missions and petitions!
  • New resources for specific buildings!
  • More spells and abilities per update with new effects!
  • General additions from suggestions!
  • and other secrets:)

It can happen sometimes that's how the game is, they should only attack well after the first imp invasions. You can change this in the mod settings in game menu

Hi, unsure if this is a problem with the base-game or just this mod (saw dev claim in another thread that enemies spawn at the edges of the map normally), but I've had 2 magical monster attacks; minotaurs and now ogres, and both times one of the creatures has spawned within my castle (they also seem to come very early, even on easy difficulties). I just had an ogre spawn on the roof of my castle. Is this a known issue?

Np! In the meantime you can try adjusting the UI scale in the game settings, might help a bit for certain issues.

I'm having an issue with the cooking Menu going off screen, being unable to see unmodded game meats due to the overabundance of variety, more of a gaming issue itself cause the UI menu isn't perfect for recipes, but the variety of meats exagerated the issue.

Yes and no. Technically possible but not something I'm looking to change. It's meant to provide variety. You can have a noble preach the types if you have many that dont like a lot of them. Also, selling them to traders for extra coin.

Too many meat types in this mod, is it possible to reduce some of them to "monster" meat and monster leather?
