Description
Warning:
This mod is barely under the soundcache limit with certain mods on. So if you experience crashes back to the main menu without a message, is because you reached the limit.

Rollback Version For people that can't use this one, because of soundcache crashes.

Disclamer:
Some things were borrowed from other Talkers, mainly from Mayo's and Lochlan's.

Note:
Let me know if you find any bugs or errors. I'm human, so I've definitely made some mistakes.

This only works in Single Player or a Local Server where the host has this mod installed.

Description:
A heavily modified TLS Talker Script File, made to be very lore-friendly and fit into a Vanilla game. It makes the Survivors a lot more vocal throught the playthrough and makes some very rare lines not be as rare as seeing a Jimmy Gibbs infected. This has been made for my personal use, but suggestions and bug reports are still welcome.

Incompatible Mods:
Ion's Vocalizer - Currently it precaches too many sounds together with this mod, making the game crash back to main menu.
Melee Grunts and other Melee Grunt restoring mods - Currently it may precache too many sounds together with this mod, making the game crash back to main menu. Use them together at your own risk.
Fixed Rochelle B&W Friendly Fire Lines - Already in the Talker.
Improved Transition Lines - A version of it already in the Talker.
Added Ellis Friendly Fire Revive Line - Already in the Talker.
Fixed Louis' Pills Easter Egg Line - Already in the Talker.
Improved L4D1 Use Adrenaline Lines - Already in the Talker.
L4D1 Tank Friendly Fire Lines Fix - Already in the Talker.
Added Francis Car Alarm Line - Already in the Talker.
Added Unused Ellis Hurrah Line for High HP Transition - Already in the Talker.
Map-Specific StayTogether When in Safe Area - Already in the Talker.
Expanded Rescue Lines - Partially in the Talker.
Added Zoey "HordeAttack" Lines - Already in the Talker.
Added Unused L4D2 Revive Lines - Already in the Talker.
Added "AreaClear" Lines for L4D2 Survivors - Already in the Talker.

I was wondering, could I borrow some of the features your talker has and put them into an 8 player talker im making from the ground up as long as I give credit and state what I've borrowed?

The survivor mourn fix sourcemod plugins are outdated and don't work as far as I'm aware

Ah yea I am using sourcemod. I think I gotta set it up on a dedicated server for one of the plugins to work that fixes it.

I didn't do anything different. Although I think there are identity problems if you normally try doing 8 player Survivors and you need like Sourcemod stuff to fix it. I'm not sure since I personally don't play with 8 Survivors, but I think there are problems like that

strange question, how did you get the L4D2 cast to mourn the l4d1 cast working? I'm making an attempt to make my own talker and ive added the response rules etc, but the l4d2 survivors wont mourn the l4d1 cast, but the l4d1 cast does mourn the l4d2 survivors

All lines defined in the Talker get cached, even L4D1's cast when you're playing as L4D2 cast and vice versa. So yeah, the soundcache is already struggling so much I made an another version of the mod without so many unused lines to help folks that crash do to the soundcache going over the limit. Which could happen because of other mods adding more lines/sounds or Custom Maps adding more lines/sounds

aw man, like right now is the mod at the absolute max and its impossible to add any new unused voice lines? Also does the limit still get affected even if like say for example some voice lines when looking at certain things in maps wont play every time and only have a chance so not every unused voice line in that level can play? Or is it based on every unused voice line to the game regardless of if they are being said in a level or not?

That's a good idea, problem is that the soundcache is already barely handling all the unused lines added. So unfortunately I won't be adding any more unused lines to the Talker, unless by some miracle Valve increases the soundcache limit. Which is honestly unlikely, but we can hope
