[SP][COOP 1-6] Northern Vikings

Description
A Norwegian Army helicopter was shot down in Vinjesvingen, a Norwegian Army squad is sent in to investigate.


Background
Since 2022, the Norwegian Separatist Movement (NSM) has fought the Norwegian Army for control over the state. The frontline between the Norwegian Army and NSM is now in the region of Vinjesvingen, when the NSM took control over the northern mountains.

Last week, a fob north of the region was attacked and has been taken over by the Separatists, prompting the government to evacuate the area and send in a Task Force to neutralize the situation. A makeshift airbase was created on the Vinje Airfield, consisting of the Brigade Nord (Northern Brigade)'s infantry and armored battalions.



Mission Detail
Your squad of 6 men, callsign "Viking 1" is going to be inserted east of the crash site and investigate. If you encounter Separatist forces, then it looks like they've already sneaked into Vinjesvingen. If this escalates, we might have a civil war on our hands.

As a Norwegian, I highly enjoyed this. Weapons and equipment were spot on, and the environment was very rich in detail. Loved the forest engagements.

HA! So I finished the mission finally! And I was sitting here thinking "I hope he has a few others done because this was put together really well" I go and look at your workshop and sure enough, pretty much all my favorites I've played recently have been by you. I can't wait to play thru more of your work.
