Description

This mod add Two New Succesion Law:

Close Family Elective
Close and Extended Family Elective

Succesion Law's Features:

These two laws can only be enact by the PLAYER, the AI isn't allowed to pass these laws.
These Laws is FREE, for enacting and removing.
The Player is the only voting in the election.
These Laws only can be enact in duchy and higher titles, it doesn't work in Counties/Baronies.

Compatibility Features:
In theory in compatible with any mod that doesn't affect to the succesions laws, and if there's a compatibility issue just tell and I will see a possible solution.

I had a situation where my character wouldn't stop living (he's currently 122 years old), and he outlived his next two generations of player heirs. Unfortunately, this mod doesn't include direct lineage beyond grandchild, so I had to expand it.

For those interested, I did a copy/paste of the efs_extended_family_elective.txt file into a new "dynasty_elective.txt" file, replacing "extended_family" with "dynasty" as appropriate, and then created an additional section to match in the 01_title_succession_laws.txt file. Finally, I added a section to the "efs_l_english.yml" file to make the selection match in-game.

The result is a Dynasty Elective succession option, which included the great-grandchild who is the current player heir. This may not be the best way to handle it (it will get messy as the dynasty grows), but I couldn't find a way to make "extended family" include another generation.
