Description
- PREFACE -
I'll be upfront. I've played with RJW for years now with plenty of casual roleplaying runs. Unfortunately, most, if not all, of the appealing clothing is made in a more realistic art style, which means they either clash with vanilla or require specific body retexture altogether. More unfortunately for me, I prefer the silly ol' vanilla body, so I must cook my own silly food. The selections are made to be as generic as possible to fit in with many mods, and I assigned their style after I made the textures not the otherway around. Any rude comments about IRL religions will not be tolerated.

- DESCRIPTION -
This mod adds multiple fantasy, sexier bodystrap textures as Ideology STYLES in vanilla artstyle. That means it uses vanilla bodystrap stats, its recipe with only leather/textiles, and is stuffable. It is to avoid item bloating, sorry for those that are looking for more complex mods.

There is also a built-in patch that makes wearing bodystraps count as nudity and (due to the nature of this mod) occupies the OnSkin slot. Hmm? Grossed out with men wearing skimpy outfits? Too bad, in this house we preached gender equality!

What we have so far:









LPT: Even in vanilla, masochists will be happy to wear slave collars and straps, and colonists can wear slave bodystraps without repercussions, except the uncovered chest/groin moodlet that can be bypassed with clothing precepts *wink wink*

- LOAD ORDER -
Ideally you should load this after other mods that add textures and new styles, but afaik, currently there's no mods that alters slave body straps nor add style variants for it, so you can put this wherever. If you prefer middle layer straps, load the patch after this mod.

- COMPATIBILITY AND RECOMMENDED MODS -
  • These outfits are made in accordance with vanilla bodies, so obviously, body retextures that change their silhouette won't fit with the straps. Some body textures that still follow vanilla could work, e.g. Erin's Body, Detailed Body 3, and Malang Body still looks good overall, even though their male and hulk chests are lower than I thought (the last one might also make it lewder than intended). Please test other body textures yourself.
  • Stylized Slave Collars and Headgears
  • Craft with Color (or any mods that allow you to freely choose apparel styles)
  • Camera+ and Graphic Settings+
  • High res texture pack for vanilla, like Vanilla Texture Expanded.

Arts are fully by me, but thanks for Alpha Meme that I study their codes for this. Screenshots contain items from various VE mods, T's Samurai Faction, Medieval Overhaul, and The Wild Fields - Apparel and Weapons. Also, some item may or may not be inspired by a certain priest from Nu:Carn.

@bodacious cowboy: there may be other mod that overrides the default strap texture, like VTE for example. Try to place your altered mod after those (or as bottom as possible if you have no idea what's causing it)

I've edited the default Strap texture to fit the body I'm using, but it won't show up in game, any idea why? All the styled versions show up when edited.

its funny how there's a good chance that someone uses this mod purely due to the fact that they want to give more ideology style variety lol.

I don't think this is particularly your problem, but it would be nice if there was some kind of workaround and I don't know of anyone else that might be interested in working around this, so thanks.
