Hunter MKII - Reforged Eden

I did now change a variant of the M2 that I had laying around to be a big bigger and sport a lot of solar. So you may want to have a look at that one.

I always want more~~

Its not really about the Drills or the Solars. Im looking for a Base-like Ship, that can be build from materials you find within the startersystems, but would still give you all the things you need for exploring and mining what you need for the later game-parts.

I played with your M2 and im quite sure putting solars on it wont do.
I know im crazy~~~ but i think multiple people would really like a mobile base, that can basically do everything you need to build bigger ships.

So it would need:

Drills (Mechanical, since Laser need higher stuff)
Solar for power efficiency
Growplots (not so many, just to get enough food for the travels)
Utility-Stuff (Meds, Shield, Warp)
Basic Weaponry (like 1 Minigun Top, one Bottom, just for Drones, nothing big)
Probably a small hangar for a Woodfarmer or small scout.

Im insatiable i know ;3

I do have a Starter with drills, but with no solar. I do have a starter that has lots of solar but no drills. And now you come along and want both ;)

I could probably modify a Variant of the M2 miner to have solar. Would have to a have a look at it again.

Hey Ente, im just playing with a heavily modified version of this ship, due to my total focus on efficienzy.
You ever thought about building a starter-cv mit Solar + Drills and all?
I mean this ones awesome, in so many ways not only for the out-of-factory CPU-space still to use, but im as told above a total efficiency-maniac.

So first thing i did, in order to use this one as a mobile base while farming for the explorer was equipping it with more solar, than it can take while still look good and add a totally-to-big mechanical-drill to the front (so it now looks shit as hell), so i could leave it in space without worrying to much about it going out of power (plants and stuff).
Its doing quite well as it is, so far.

Would totally love to see how you would end up building a good looking Starter-CV with Solar and Mechanical Drills. The Drills mostly so you would need to farm Zasco and Eres for the Drills/Turret first to mine with the ship itself.
