The Hunter is an Starter CV that comes with an upgrade spot for a LX-2 Railgun. It's an idea spawned by the Anvil Designers Challenge, where one would build a Core 2 CV that is capable of killing a Sunat Corvette. Iirc we have to thank Garaman (also a great builder, check out his workshop!) for the silly idea to slap a Railgun on a Core 2 CV, so here is my interpretation of this concept.

In regular gameplay you will most likely not have access to a railgun, since it is stupidly expensive (@Ravien: Pleeeease move it to the tech tree without the schematic). The Mounting for it is therefore separated and oxygenized, so it can be used for whatever you need some space for. See the Upgrade LCDs for some ideas and instructions.

This version is a regular Starter CV. For an upgraded version to fight Sunat Corvettes as per the challenge, see here:

Has extensive upgrade capabilities up to a Core 4, for details see the upgrade guidance system that can be activated via the P-Menu switch 'Upgrade Marker'

Note the ship is unarmored, so keep your shields up!
