Armor provides better protection, but breaks quicker.
New camo armor upgrade and camo variants of medium and heavy armor.
Camo armor can be upgraded with plates or weaving.
Night Vision can be attached to Kevlar and Heavy helmets.

Armor set containers drop random chest armor, random upgrade item and camo netting.
Light armor set containers also drop a gas mask.
Added small chance of random armor upgrade item to enemy armor drops.

Light Armor reduces non-penetrating damage by 50%.

Medium and Heavy armor reduce non-penetrating damage by 60%.
Gas mask offers very little protection now and is damaged very fast.

Weave upgraded armor has improved durability and slightly better reduction when penetrated.
Plate upgraded armor has improved penetration protection level and slightly better reduction when penetrated.

Each tier of armor has slightly better durability and slightly better reduction when penetrated, in addition to the increased penetration protection level.

Many armor items have increased scrap parts value.
Hovering NVGs will display marksman stat on merc icons.


NOTE: The free move perk uses penetration protection level to determine if an item is considered light armor. Upgrading a light protection level armor with plates will effectively classify it as medium armor and will no longer work with the free move perk.
