Open Beta is supposed to be loaded on its own, and not alongside the main version.

Realms has always been driven by a passionate team dedicated to enhancing the immersive experience of Crusader Kings 3. We have poured countless hours into meticulously crafting a mod that transports you into Tolkien's world. And now, we are eager to invite you all to join us on this adventure. After two and half years of developing and testing behind closed doors, we are now exited to share our public open beta with you.

By moving to an open beta model, we hope to gather valuable feedback from a wider range of players at an early stage, allowing us to refine and polish Realms in Exile even further. Your insights and suggestions will no doubt play a vital role in shaping the mod's future, ensuring that it evolves in a direction that resonates with the desires of the community.

As we embark on the exciting journey of the Realms in Exile mod's public open beta, I want to emphasise that this build will always be hot code and so we expect there to be plenty of bugs, rough edges and unintended goings-on. While we have made every effort to ensure a stable and enjoyable experience, it's important to be aware that unexpected issues will arise during gameplay.

Again, if you prefer a more polished and refined playing experience, I would always recommend waiting for the official main releases of the mod on the main steam page.
