Compatibility Assistant
Lumina will no longer disable itself when other mods are present. Instead, it will notify you persistently about any conflicts until they are resolved, although you can choose to ignore these messages.

Please be aware that unexpected behavior may occur when using other mods. The decision to proceed is up to you. You can review any conflicts by checking the "Lumina.LogFile" located in the Logs folder at the mod's directory.
You can locate it by using the 'Open Logs' button in options menu.

Enhance your visuals and bring your creative vision to life with the Lumina LUT Bundle 1.

Lumina takes Relight and optimizes it for the latest Cities: Skylines version, now utilizing Harmony 2.

Lumina delivers improved performance and stability. This allows for smoother handling of post-processing tasks, enabling you to fine-tune various visual aspects of your virtual city more efficiently.

Lumina not only includes the features of the Shadow Strength Adjuster but also provides additional functionalities such as shadow intensity and shadow bias adjustment. By consolidating these features into a single tool, Lumina simplifies your post-processing workflow.

With Lumina you can:

- Shadow Control: Adjust intensity and bias for perfect lighting.
- Atmospheric Customization: Tweak tint, temperature, and more.
- Fog Mastery: Manage day/night fog, edge fog, and classics.
- Color Effects: Fine-tune color decay for stunning visuals.
- Cubemap Selection: Switch between day and night cubemaps.
- Atmospheric Settings: Explore additional atmosphere tweaks.
- Dynamic Resolution: Seamlessly adjust resolution for optimal performance.

You can now switch between classic fog to enable cubemaps.
You no longer need Daylight Classic nor Cubemap Replacer to use cubemaps.
Lumina allows you to switch Cubemaps/Skyboxes and fog settings.

To use cubemaps enable 'Classic Fog' in Lumina.
If using Render It! enable 'Static Fog' in that mod.

Get Tree Control which enhances the appearance of trees and substitutes the unattractive vanilla LODs, thereby improving their visual quality.

To use Lumina, simply click the UUI button or use the hotkey provided in options. Enjoy!

I have to agree with darcula2000

Not worth it, every time I load the game, even when I go to apply a preset manually, the exposure and fog settings don't save. It looks terrible by default.

so i install lumina and dynamic resolution but skyve said it's the successor, so does it mean lumina have option to change the resolutin? does it fine if i run both dynamic res and lumina?

Daylight Classic + Softer Shadows + Dynamic Resolution + Real Neutral LUT,Thank you, these four mods are still valid until December 2024.

I respect and thank every mod creator, but I have to admit that after 9 years, the simplest and most effective mods in terms of light and shadow effects are still those from 8 years ago.

this 4 mods combination still cannot be replaced, such as' Render It! ',' Lumina ', and' Relight '. Although these complex mods are more flexible and free, they require patience to adjust the values. Most players just want to achieve a simple and beautiful light and shadow effect.

What I most want to adjust is the part of the building that faces away from the light. The latest Mod [Natural Lighting] can replace [Daylight Classic], but still cannot fully replace [Softer Shadows]

It might get an update to address these but you could use Render It to save those settings in the meantime. No one’s forcing you to use this

This mod is a year old now so honestly you should already have your setup assembled

If you want this mod to be good, it needs to save all settings. Right now it doesn't save atmosphere settings and antialiasing disable itself off everytime you exit game and load again. Because of these issues of having to readjust everything each time you load game, im ditching this mod. It also doesn't have features of other mods, ie. temporal antialiasing/smaa[post process fx mod] that works with dynamic resolution, it doesn't have ambient occlusion. Please if you want to make ultimate replacer, then mean it, at least solve save setting bugs/issues.
Vril 30 Nov @ 12:40pm
Why does it not save some settings?
Vril 28 Nov @ 10:29am
Its not unified one tool, because it lacks features of other graphics mod, so no, you can't just use lumina for all your needs...Postprocessing like ambient occlussion, antialiasing, anisotropic filtering on assets especially those with transparency is still missing. Best combo is still Render it + theme mixer and least problematic, like something switching off or on because lumina somehow can't function with render it.

Can you change latitude and sun position with this mod?
Vinny 24 Nov @ 11:26am
Hello! does anyone know how to fix the problem when using the dynamic resolution in Lumina, where decals are scaled weird and glitch out a bit?
