Description
Hello! I'd like to share with you a mod aimed to improve raindrops appearance on windshield (and rain in general) and make game more realistic and immersive.

Key features:
  • Add new texture and significantly increase number of raindrops.
  • Improved physical behaviour of particles, now their spawn will be more affected by truck position relatively to rain inclination.
    It makes a huge difference and vastly improve perception of weather! Just try it yourself!
  • Reworked sound effects for wipers and rain
  • New car splash trails

Tweak these sliders to achieve comfortable sound level:
  • Rain inside, Wipers - Interior sounds volume
  • Rain outside - World sounds volume

IMPORTANT
If you want to increase number of raindrops on windshield (3x) install Truck Addon.
ONLY FOR ATS SCS TRUCKS! INCOMPATIBLE with modded trucks and interiors.

Mod is compatible with any other weather/sound mods, just give Better Raindrops a priority and place on top of others.

Known issues:
If you experiencing performance issues try to reduce traffic by entering console command g_traffic 0.5. Change the number to find optimal balance between amount of AI cars and your FPS in the rain.

@FilMit, на странице мода для ETS2 человек жаловался что слишком тихо в кабине, ну и пришлось погромче звук сделать) Просто сами движки в ETS2 тише сделаны, оттого и предыдущая версия эквалайзера в ATS лучше ощущалась.

Плюс ещё очень сильно от акустических систем восприятие меняется: у кого колонки, у кого наушники, одни подешевле, другие подороже - и все звучат по-разному. Да и настройки звука в игре у всех тоже разные. Всем не угодишь, короче :KSmiley:

Честно, прежде эквалайзер лучше был.
На LT, при стандартном звуке и закрытых окнах, теперь радио не слышно,
звук как бочка в бочке...

@darknight_ux, you can place Zeemods above Better Raindrops in Mod Manager, so it have higher priority.
Or you can download non-steam Better Raindrops version, unpack it and remove sound and sound_br folders.

How can I remove sounds? I use the Zeemods sounds, and I prefer dont hava any conflits

Hello guys, why is this mod is so loud even my ears started bleeding after I downloaded it, could someone help me to solve this problem please? I selected 50% of volume in setting but it doen't changes

@Killer81, you need to open
material\environment\rain.mat file with any text editor and change
diffuse : { 0.3 , 0.3 , 0.3 }
to
diffuse : { 0 , 0 , 0 }

it will make exterior rain particles invisible.
