Spines Matter More Now

Description
Ever wondered why Billy despite having his spine screwed up from a charge lance is still able to do his work fine despite having barely any movement speed?
This mod fixes that so your manipulation is dependent on your spine efficiency like moving!

All rights are reserved by me, you are not authorised to reupload this mod in any aspect unless you have received permission from me.

This is not for selfish reasons, one of my mods during the release of 1.6 had a reupload that the reuploader seriously screwed up somehow, which harmed the performance of about 1000 users that switched over.

If you want to update one of my mods, please seek me out and get me to do a check over your work, my username on Discord is jdalt40.

Ludeon has not attempted to buy this mod from me, no.

But in all seriousness, yes, but I am on placement and will be for the next 3 weeks.

Will this be receiving an official update to 1.6?

Having checked, this mod still works for 1.6

I'm unlikely to do this as I'm not really a big fan of bundling mods into one mod as I feel it makes it vulnerable to a single point of failure. It's also just harder to explain that my mod doesn't "break your game" in a specific way if my mods are all in a single compilation.

Example:

Spines Matter More Now Comment: "All of my pawns are now immortal! Wtf Jdalt?!"
Me: "I'm sorry, but that's impossible for my mod to cause that as it doesn't even touch anything close to that"

Mod Compilation Comment: "All of my pawns are now immortal! Wtf Jdalt?!"
Me: "Uuuh, maybe this is my mod, I don't actually know because I sort of just bundled everything in, can you send in your log & enabled modules?"

It just takes up more of my time and the user's time because I don't know what modules you have enabled and it could very well be my mod due to the number of modules in said mod.

Did you ever consider combining you mods like this one into a single mod that is a compilation of small togglable changes, ala Tweaks Galore? I'm very much interested in your tweaks, but looking at my mod list extend by like 6 mods at a time doesn't feel good.

@Jdalt40 Thanks for the heads up, even if it is bad news.

This mod has a custom class for spines, this mod may not work with 1.5 because it's not an XML mod

Unless functions for the spine body part have changed significantly in 1.5 (I don't think so), updating this mod for your own use should be a simple matter. Find the mod folder with RimPy (and you SHOULD be using RimPy) by right clicking on it and selecting "Open Folder", make a copy of it, in that copied folder find the "About" folder, open the "About" file with Note Pad.

Find this line:
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.4</li>
Change the 1.4 to a 1.5.
Save that folder.
Either unsub for this mod and use your modified version, or create a local copy of the mod with RimPy, modify it, save the changes, and then use the modified, updated local copy of the mod.

Easy. In fact, after I do some stuff, I'll go do that today.
