Description
This modification makes some changes to the game balance and introduces changes to the Technology tree.

This mod requires the HRFanPatch to function.
WITHOUT THE FAN PATCH THIS WILL NOT WORK.

  • Reorganised and expanded Technology tree.
  • Research basecost lowered from 50 to 30 on most Technologies.
  • Some research now has prerequisite requirements before being unlocked.
  • Shipyards gain +25% storage space.
  • Fusion/Tokamak station requires 25% less Steel/Plastic/Tools to build.
  • Themis, Atlas and Anubis take more time to build.
  • Broken Moon will no longer initiate wars on their own but can join with other companies when they declare war.
  • Ghost Works Shipyards gain an inherent 20% resource consumption reduction at their shipyards.
  • Introduces the Adena Cartel company.
New Starting Scenarios
  • Growing Trader - begin in First Light but with an Omen and some additional money rather than a Solen.
  • Vested Trader - begin in The Forge with a Sphinx freighter and alternative sector knowledge.
  • Mining Company - begin in Shore of Ice with an Iron and Ice mining station with supporting ships. Alternative sector knowledge.
  • Remote Outpost - begin in Tranquility with a Repair Outpost, Habitation Center and Solar Power Plant. Limited sector knowledge.
  • Reclaimers - begin in Decay with a Solen, Kami and 2 Orcas, but no money.
Station/Economy changes
  • Orbital Telescope maximum level is now 1, added secondary factory 'Observational Research' which is slower but more efficient than a standard level 1 research station. Time to discover sectors increased from 60 days to 90.
  • Research station has a secondary production lab 'Advanced lab'. Using Electronics instead of tools.
  • Added new resources, 'Waste', 'Scrap Metal' and 'Scrap Plastic'.
  • Habitation Stations produce Waste.
  • Farms have a secondary production which uses Waste to produce Food.
  • New station, the Recycling Plant. Produces Scrap Metal and Plastic from Waste.
  • Steelworks and Plastic Refinery now each has a secondary production method using Scrap to produce their primary resource.
New Technologies
  • Advanced Weapons - unlocks new weapons (Hammer Cannon, Ares HEAT Turret)
  • Advanced Propulsion - unlocks engines/RCS (Piranha and Surtsey RCS, Fuji, Eldfell, Octopus engine pods)
  • Advanced Light Assembly - unlocks the ability for shipyard owners to build more ship types (Orca, Phalanx)
  • Advanced Heavy Assembly - unlocks the ability for shipyard owners to build more ship types (Kami, Invader, Themis)
  • Late Heavy Assembly - unlocks the ability for shipyard owners to build more ships (Leviathan, Anubis, Atlas)
  • Efficient Fabrication - Reduces resource cost of building ships at owned shipyards by 10%, passes on 5% of the savings to customers
Harmonic Resonance support
  • Certain ships are locked behind research before being available at shipyards
  • Shipyard tech unlocks Shade
  • Advanced Light Assembly tech unlocks Spearfish
  • Advanced Heavy Assembly tech unlocks Dora, Wyvern and Solaris variants
  • Late Heavy Assembly tech unlocks Basilisk, Nautilus
  • Kelvin cost has been increased and combat points reduced from 15 to 10.
  • Spearfish takes 2 more days to manufacture.
  • Dora has reduced its combat value from 70 to 65
  • Wyvern has increased its combat value from 65 to 70. Resource cost brought up.
  • Basilisk mass reduced, combat points set to 90. Internal components are stronger.
  • Baltazhar has been disabled due to a crash issue
  • Osiris gains a larger cargo hold from 1X150 to 2X400, placing it between the Omen and Sphinx.
  • Solaris Freighter line gains a much larger cargo hold, from a total of 750 cargo to 3,000. They are positioned between the Sphinx and Themis.
  • Nautilus build time increased from 132 days to 180 days. Increased resource requirements a small amount. Dorsal turrets are limited to Artemis turrets only.
HRFM Ships support
  • Certain ships are locked behind research before being available at shipyards.
  • Shipyard Tech unlocks Plutus and Fate
  • Advanced Heavy tech unlocks Tachi and Demeter.
  • Late Heavy Assembly tech unlocks Daisho.
  • Advanced Weapons tech unlocks Ghost drone.
  • Flak technology unlocks Porpoise drone.
  • Pirate faction starts out with an additional Fate Drone Carrier.
