Description
The Weather Manager is a suite of sandbox tools that allows you to control the weather and temperature of your world, as well as allowing fine control over the frequency and type of storms you'll experience.

Features:
  • Customise frequency and intensity for fog, wind and rain.
  • Maximum and minimum limits for each aspect of the weather, allowing a randomised weather experience within the ranges you set.
  • Interval settings allow for long spells of custom weather, temperamental and changable climates, or anything in between.
  • Change the frequency, duration and variety of storms in your world.
  • Set temperatures for any season, and customise the amount that daylight will warm the world each day.
  • Modular design allows you to toggle each of the above features on and off at will, without needing a server restart.

Fully Compatible with Multiplayer

Designed for dedicated servers, may have issues with local hosting & singleplayer

Is there any way to make it work on a non-dedicated server?

I disabled the storm manager part of the mod. Its still not snowing, raining right now. I think I found a possible work around, but it will be a pain to keep up with. In the vanilla weather manager I can turn on "precipitationissnow" only. But i will have to turn that off once it warms up in spring.

@SquidForbid Not a bother at all, happy to help. It might be because you have the storm manager enabled, it's maybe generating a 'storm' or 'tropical storm' which are hardcoded weather events that will always have rain rather than snow. Could you try testing with the storm manager disabled?

I am a server owner hosting a B41 server. I can force snow with the vanilla tools, but it goes right back to raining when I unselect precipitation and "precipitationissnow." Also, thanks for troubeshooting with me. I really appreciate it. I really want to get this mod working correctly. <3

@SquidForbid Are you playing on build 41 or 42? If it's raining instead of snowing at -24 then something's gone wrong. If you have access to admin tools on your server, maybe try setting the 'Force Snow' option in the vanilla weather settings to make it snow, and then see what happens when you disable it after.

I have rain/snow manager, storm manager, and temperature manager enabled. Some of my players have told me its has snowed, but only for a very short time and very lightly. It is currently -24 C in game, and its currently raining. Rain has been no problem, I was just hoping that we could have freezing snowy winters and hot summers. Its actually extra dangerous because my players are wet and cold.

@SquidForbid Have you made sure the temperature manager is enabled? It should be the top option for that menu. Once the temperatures are sufficiently cold (being negative Celsius should be plenty) then any rainfall should come down as snow. Have you seen any rain since starting to use the weather manager?

I have made it to January on my server, and I haven't had any snow. Its been in the negatives Celsius on and off. -30 is the lowest and 2 is the highest for winter. Am I doing the settings wrong? I didn't really touch any of the weather parts of the mod, just changed the temperature for each season. Do I need to turn blizzards up to get snow? Chance of blizzard is set at 2.

@atri ❤ Correct, if you set the chance of fog to 100% then there's a 100% chance that the mod will roll an amount of fog between your maximum and minimum fog levels. If you set it to 0% it would always be the minimum fog level only. Setting it to 50% chance would mean half the time it's minimum, and half the time it's somewhere between minimum and maximum.

The chance is rolled after every weather interval (in in-game hours) specified in the top field.

very specific question, if I set the chances of weather to 100% will it mean that theyre permanently enabled? like if i set fog chance to 100% then theres never not fog on the map
