Smooth Floors Look Constructed

Description


Tweaks the smoothed floors to appear as constructed rock block floors, for those who are tired of boring floors.


To install, click the 'mods' button when creating a new world and then enable this mod

Make sure it is placed ABOVE the Vanilla - Environment graphics in the load order for it to work!

Manual Installation

NOTE: This will overwrite your vanilla files!
        
  1. Locate your game install folder, mods folder, and then look for this mods folder.
        
  2. Copy the two textures inside the folder
        
  3. Back to the root install folder, and then to: data/vanilla/vanilla_environment
       
  4. Delete both "floors" textures (.jpeg and .bmp)
       
  5. Paste the two modded textures, and RENAME THEM the filenames from the step above
       
  6. Load up a save and see if it has been replaced

If you want to revert to the vanilla textures after a manual install, simply delete both "floors" texture files then right click the game in your steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. The vanilla files should be re-acquired by Steam.

Posted critique too quickly. It works. I just have no idea how. In one world, it works, in another world not. Why? I'un'no.

Still working as of 52.04. Make sure you place the mod above Vanilla Environment in the load order.

Praise armok, Thank you so much, I've tried to do this to smooth walls as well but me not getting the mod structure just made me edit the vanilla files. Would you be able to to the same for Engraved and Smoothed walls to make them look like build walls ? :urist:
