Just what I was looking for!!! Thank a million. (Martian invasions my behated, three in a row plus ~10 in the last couple hours of gameplay was *several* too many, especially since the UFO boss is beyond me right now.) You have single-handedly removed the most frustrating part of the game for me right now. :)

Pirate invasion is missing from the config; it'd be nice to disable them since I already have everything from the event + am playing a journey mode "collect all items" run right now, and invasions I've already 100%'ed are just getting in the way of 100%ing other things.

Thanks again for enabling me in disabling the martians. Biiiig help.

@yetihugs I created the world with Calamity. No one in Calamity knows how to get mods to start events (they found it weird items that are supposed to start it didn't work sometimes, but admit Calamity can be buggy that way)

@thelarch No. It will not.

I looked around and found some common issues people have with the acid rain event:
Did you generate the world with calamity (/only calamity) enabled? Did you try in single-player? Do any players have a barrier (i.e. rover diver) equipped?

If you still have issues, I recommend joining the calamity discord server and asking for help in the #help-advice-read-pins channel.

@yetihugs I've never gotten the acid rain to work thanks to cheat sheet (it can't find that event) and I used the tear 20 times in the sulfur biome,but that just caused rain, not the event. Will this mod cause the event?

@whippedcowmilk You can use a mod like cheatsheet to add a caustic tear into your inventory.
