This ship excels as a pre-barrier apex predator. It squeezes as much power and presence out of its 10 slots as possible. It is strong enough to remain a powerful ship of the line, without any modifications, all the way to the center (tested on Veteran difficulty.)

It is recommended to invest in building one or more of these ships once you've discovered the barrier but don't yet have all the artifacts necessary to cross it.
