No, I've never made mods like that. As for knowing, I was able to find "India Only" and "Mapsclusive India". Not quite up-to-date, but at least they've been made post 1.9, so they should probably work.

Hi, ive been searching for days and i cant seem to find any mod that restricts the map to India or Africa, and i was wondering if u have made, or know any such mod that is compatible with the current patch of the game.

I'm almost certain it's compatible with EPE. Not so sure about CE, but it should probably work. In theory. I don't really use any mods other than my own (and No More Cheating), so every time someone asks about compatibility, best I can do is make an educated guess.

100% won't work:
- mods that change the map (like More Provinces or Navigable Rivers);
- mods that override landed_titles or religions (they almost never do, mine is an exception);
- mods that add holy sites or landed titles outside of the map's border (like RICE).

Events and scripts outside of the map's scope should normally just silently fail without causing troubles, but it's not 100%.

Everything else should work.

Sorry. Just now I noticed you answered a similar question before. It seems it is compatible with EPE, which could possibly mean it works with Culture Expanded.

I've noticed it is not compatible with either Community Title Project or More Cultural Names, causing crashes after playing for a while. But since these mods are just some "flavourisation" I didn't mind removing them.

This mod is absolutely great! I love it, and it has much improved my performance since I play on a laptop, lol. May I ask you, is it compatible with Culture Expanded (and, consequentially, with Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded)? Thanks! Again, absolutely great mod.

This mod also removes historic characters from cut territories. It does that by overriding relevant files with empty files, so removing these files will restore the characters. Files in "characters" folder are characters themselves, organized by culture (like han.txt). Files in "titles" tie characters to titles. So, for "characters" folders you need to remove tamil, telugu and sinhala. For "titles" - k_maharastra and k_tamilakam. I think that should be it, though I'm not 100% sure, maybe I'm missing something.

Thank you! Actually I figured it was easier to just base it off the RGB codes from the definitions.csv file and work my way off of the borders. Only question I have left is whether I should be removing any .txt files from the characters folder? Still don't get the relation of removing the "han.txt" file in that comment you mentioned regarding adding back the kingdom of Xia.

Not sure about the best one. Most would do the job I think, but personally I use gimp 2.10 (3.0+ had issues that may or may not have been resolved). How I would've done it in gimp: open both mine and original files, copy Deccan Empire, "Edit" - "paste in place" and "anchor layer" (green anchor button in the bottom-right corner). Then to figure out the actual borders of Deccan empire and remove the unwanted provinces. Then "File" - "overwrite provinces.png".

No problem- thank you for answering! Just wondering what tool will be best for re-adding the provinces to the .png file? I'm not sure if it's a good idea to just splice them back haphazardly a la copying from the original map since I'm only planning to re-add the Deccan empire.

Won't be making a version with Deccan. As for your second question, there's an answer to a similar one on the 3rd page of this comment section. That's a rough outline. Feel free to ask if you have follow-up questions or want me to go into details on a particular step.
