Description
In the great Dawi-update for Total War Warhammer II CA gave Ungrim Ironfist a Lord-specific ability that gave slayer-units in his army the Journey's End passive, preventing them from losing models until the unit HP drops below 50%. CA toned down the ability to shut off at the 75% HP threshold in a later patch.

I say no more!

Welcome to the days of Journey's End once more lasting until the 50% HP-mark! And lads? I think I smell Trollstew on the wind!!!



That's all this mod does and should as such be compatible with almost everything; if a mod adds more slayer-type units it simply has to add those new units to the dwf_slayers unit set and things should function for those units too!



EDIT: It was brought to my attention that this mod can sometimes refuse to work even when it should. In such a case I would recommend using the Community Bugfix Mod as it contains a lot of fixes, the "entities_can't_die"-mechanic among them.

P.S. The Community Bugix Mod might not be needed as of patch 2.3, but now you have another possible solution if it refuses to work for you.

So if any of you are still hoping for an update. I made my own mod, which basically does the same but with a 25% hp threshold.

Sadly mod not working for me. Did some testing, and the Community Bugfix mod fixes the base game (only start dying at 75%) ability, but when using this mod not only does it not work it seems to 'switch off' the CBM fix so Slayers die before the unit gets to 75% HP.

@kaloune It's been a while since I either played or worked on mods for Warhammer 3, so I honestly don't know. But yeah, try it without the better elites mod and see if it still works?

hello it seems the mod doesnt work for me, im suspecting its because of the mod better elites cutting down the size of slayers, what do you think?

It works in game you guys. you must be having conflict with your mods. im in campaign right now and it works still for 2.3

this ability doesnt work in vanilla, the commnuity bug fix mod is needed.

I don't know it works for you, but it doesn't work for me. I have no other mods on, the first battle vs shitty gobbos my slayers fall like flies.
I'm confident that it is a bug with the base game itself.
