Much Yay!

Functionality Update for v4.0.23. With this Update the mods should be fully functional.

Uh oh! Warning!

Please be respectful and Mannerly. Any comments that have Excessive profanity, unneeded negativity and or are disrespectful, WILL BE DELETED, as neither me or anyone else have any need them.

Notes and Server Info? Wahhh?

Note 1: UI Overhaul Dynamic is required for the Ship Designer due to the size of the SSD\Star Dreadnought Classes otherwise you will have a lot of trouble adding Weapons and Utilities Due to overlapping!

Note 2: Starbase Extended 3.0 and Real Space 4.0 are not required, but are greatly recommended!

Note 3: The Tibana and Kyber crystal resources have been made available only through starbase buildings to make it so management is required and balancing reasons. It is why the use of Starbase Expanded 3.0 is encouraged!

Note 4: This mod is not compatible with NSC, nor will it be made to be. This is a standalone shipset and always will be.

What is?

This mod is a full update to the original Star Wars Empire Ships Reborn mod, this is a full version of it and not just a vanilla shipset swapper, quite a few of the problems with ship section naming has been fixed, resources and weapons are included and are fully functional. I have created a resource file so the custom resources will be recognized and displayed in game so the universal patch is not needed if you do not have other mods that add custom resources.

Detail Please!

This mod contains:
-custom Galactic Empire faction with relevant flag (Now made Protected from undeserved Empire use)
-custom ship classes only available to empires using the Empire Ships Ship Appearance. (Thanks to TheSting the Prescripted Nation needed to use it is no longer needed or required)
-2 ship sets; Empire Ships and Empire Ships Lite. Lite is used if you want to use only vanilla classes. All custom Empire Ships are only able to be used by selecting the Empire Ships selection when selecting what your Ships will look like in game.
-All ship Sections in the Ship Designer should be properly named.
-The Octuple Turbolaser now has a visual representation in game, it is the same as all the other guns however that is because i could not figure out for the life of me why the original visual refuses to show!

yaaa no, lol, had the thought myself, but i nearly ended up in the hospital because of the stroke it inspired. lol also, that thing would be game breakingly powerful. would still like to have it, but making the model would be a nightmare!

Yo you should totally add the Imperium Ultra SSD fr, totally not the size of a Death Star in an SSD style

not the imperial class. the star destroyer class ships in general together. for example the victory I and II are star destroyers. if i remember correctly, the gladiator is classified as a SD. so, the battlecruisers, advanced star destroyers (eg bellator, executor.), would be ones i want to be left along with two other types to preserve the feel of the mod as much as possible.

TL;DR not merging ship looks, just the hull sizes since there are a good few that are actually SD's.

i guess, problem there is that all the work done, which in doing so would be a ton, would end up wasted if we got push back. personally, i very much believe merging most of the ships with the vanilla ones would ruin the feel of the mod. the feel that made me love it in the first place. have to remember that how a game or mod feels is important, especially when that feel is already well established.

that is a capitulation i am willing to make later if we reach a limit with the ships. beyond that i have set a limit of four ship sizes in the least.

the way i see it, it would end up feeling like nsc, where most of the ships are just ship sections, in the vanilla ones, one of my team believe we could make each section have certain stats. personally. i am fine with merging ships into their appropirate classes, (star detroyers with star destroyers lore wise, like the victory i and II, as currently they are in with the cruisers) but personally not merging the majority into the vanilla classes. there is a limit to how many classes you can have, but i want to leave at least four to preserve the feel and use of the mod.
