QTG Hacker NPC 2.0 (NextBot)

Description
A tribute to Neptune QTG.

Local store owner Craig has obtained the power of invulernability... and he isn't happy. He's had enough of the players toying around, and he wants to make you feel powerless. No weapon or any other NPC seem to come close to his power. Nothing stands a chance against him... are you willing to fight this battle?

Convars
  1. qtg_hacker_teleport (1) | Enables the teleportation ability for QTG Hacker NPCs
  2. qtg_hacker_pacifist (0) | Makes QTG Hacker NPCs always friendly
  3. qtg_hacker_laser (1) | Enables the laser ability for QTG Hacker NPCs
  4. qtg_hacker_pull (1) | Enables the ability to pull entities closer towards QTG Hacker NPCs
  5. qtg_hacker_persistence (1) | Enables QTG Hacker NPCs to persist past server reload

Console Commands
  1. qtg_hacker_removeall | Removes all of the QTG Hacker NPCs currently on the map.

This is very odd, but this addon is getting old now and it not currently being updated, so it is likely that something is broken. :steamsad:

I will test myself some time soon, and I'll tell you if I figure out the issue! :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

Why doesn't the hacker attack the player even if I turn on/off the qtg_hacker_pacifist command? I shoot at him and he doesn't care!

You do not know the power of this npc, Place it in gm_construct_13_beta and watch it kill any entity thats an npc.

That is correct. But if you want the NPC to always be friendly, type in the developer console this command:
qtg_hacker_pacifist 1
