That’s not true. Idol worship in Arabia ended in the early 7th century, the Kaaba’s idols were destroyed in 630 CE, and by 633 CE organized pagan cults were gone. What survived were only bits of superstition, not public shrines. Jewish tribes did exist in Medina and Khaybar, but they were expelled or subdued by the mid-7th century under Caliph ʿUmar. After that, there were no “Jewish chiefdoms” in what is now Saudi Arabia. The only major Jewish communities that lasted into the medieval period were in Yemen, not the Hijaz or Najd. So the claim that idolaters and Jewish states survived there until the 9th century is simply false.

Saudi Arabia still had Idol Worshippers and Jewish chiefdom's across the peninsula up until the 9th century, maybe even later. They were only massacred by "the peaceful cult" a lot later.

@florenciacosimo I don't think it needs an update.

Al Yammah would be the most appropriate named for the historical central region during the middle ages, it really became "nejd" during the 1300s plus

great mod, but i think the central kingdom should be called Al-Yamamah or Najd (Najd will be more accurate).

Bahrain the island was originally called Awal, and "al-Bahrayn" was used to refer to all of the eastern Arabian coast. The Awal islands began to be called Bahrain in the late Middle Ages, and the eastern coast did not stop being referred to as al-Bahrayn until the 18th century.
