just a few expirments i made with rotors. once they add have the programing update to the game, they might even be able to walk! :D

theyre arms are able to do the full range of motions as a real person, and maybe a bit more. the waist and head can rotate also, but the legs and feet only have enough mobitity to perform a basic walking movement when it becomes easier to do in-game.

Im sort of glad i have this game already. We get to have input on the games design. Not only that, but we get it cheaper. Sounds like your friends are a bit elitist ted. No offense.

I Fixed these for the creator. I am sending them to him to he can update this page with mechs that don't blow up. This is happening because the rotors are not set to 0 default, instead of 11 cm.

Thats cool,

Yeah I can relate I burnt up to 300hours on this game
in 3-week, but none of my fiends either have, or have and don't want
to play this yet until it gets out of Alpha....so I got burnt out fast........

@Ted©
sadly no... i've been lazy

i started to update them to have a walking animation, more stable flight, and make them battery powered with a connector on the back, then kinda gave up when an update whiped all the rotor settings...

if i start working on them again i will probaly remove the cockpit and replace it with a control block, and replace the spotlight eye with a functional camera etc.

mechs in space engineers really will never be much more than cosmetic even if they can walk since it is a very impractical type of vehicle. so they will always be mostly cosmetic. however i do plan on modifying them so they'll be slightly more stable in flight. just need to reposition the thrusters to push from as close to the center of gravity as possible.
