Přemyslid banner (Přemyslovci)

Description
The Přemyslid (or Saint-Wenceslav) eagle is the oldest known symbol of Kingdom of Bohemia.

The Přemyslid were the dynasty ruling in Bohemia since at least the 9th century until the year 1306. The symbol of flaming eagle is known to be used already during the rule of Duke Wenceslaw (921-935) and continued to represent the dukes and kings of Bohemia until 1253. Then the royal symbol was replaced by the silver lion on a red background.
