Bohemia land banner

The banner of Bohemia in land colors used since around the 19th century.

Around that time the individual lands of Austria–Hungary began to use land banners in colors of their coat of arms. For Bohemia it was a silver lion on a red background – thus the banner took these two colors. It was used until 1920, when it was replaced by the modern flag of Czechoslovakia.
