Emplacements add a couple of choice manned emplacements and turrets for your use. Can be used in tandem with Simple ammo which patches a few of these to use ammo instead of steel or wood. Simple ammo is no longer a hard requirement 1.5 and forward.


  • Manned Bofors cannon with craftable bofors ammo at machining table
  • Manned Howitzer with craftable HE explosive ammo at machining table
  • Manned Cannon with craftable cannonballs at smithing table and more
  • Manned HMG
  • Manned Hwacha
  • Heavy turret
  • Ion turret
  • Gattling turret

LT Systems is named as req in the text but not sidebar, so which is accurate?

- Updated to use new namespace ThingWithComps instead of Buildings in LTS Systems.

Updated mod description for 1.5 forward. Simple Ammo no longer a hard requirement.

- 1.5 added, 1.4 kept as is.
- Added some new Ammo for, Howitzer, Bofors and Cannonballs instead of using steel.
- Most manned turrets now have aiming angles, where they can only fire in certain directions.
- Added HMG emplacement.

Atm it uses simple ammo, I have an update underway to let it use steel instead of ammo from my mods. But will allow ammo from simple ammo as well.
I am considering extending the functionality further in the future

This only works with the simple ammo pack and not the advanced ammo pack? Or do I install both of your ammo packs to be able to use these emplacements?

Heyo! Atm, does not require ammo from there. I have further plans for this mod and am working on that. But will soonish release a fix for this mod to allow it to use steel instead of ammo from simple ammo as well.
