Planet Rotate [Beta 0.5]

Description
WARNING USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Warning! Adding to an existing world will cause planets to suddenly start spinning, anything not locked down may be thrown into the nearest wall.

Adds planet rotation to space engineers.

Notes:

This mod is intended to be paired with the Aerodynamics mod. Do not add the Aerodynamics dev branch to your modlist or the game will crash.

Known bug: Certain fog effects turn the screen to black instead of fade, workaround: /weather clear to remove.
Spawn on Pertam may be more difficult than intended.

Add ghosting mechanic (see ships/bases from orbit)
Add ghost planets/moons and hide alternate planets if not on them. (Partially Done)
Might be a bug if you try to go to space with just a suit, be warned probably should be seated.
Update GPS seamlessly.
Teleport Observer Camera when entering planet atmosphere
Hide added planets from respawn menu
Prevent stations from teleporting
Allow manual adjustment of planet configuration.
Hide Alternate GPS from menus.
Move skybox when on planet (Thanks Digi for the hint :))

Mod Extensions
Add the following XML to the appropriate PlanetGeneratorDefinition to define a planets default rotation rate. Note that rotation is in Ticks and there are 60 ticks to a second.

Don't be worried, this mod does it basically the same way.

With Real Solar Systems, the planets that move are entirely fake, they're an illusion, and you get teleported to real planets placed REALLY far away from everything, including other real planets.

That's what a 'proxy planet' is, a fake planet which represents a real planet in space, with a zone around it that will teleport you to or from the real planet it's linked to.

I just checked the page for the real solar system mod and ... yeah it says they rotate, but it's done in a clever way such that the planets rotate underneath you when you get to space and the skybox rotates when you are close to the surface using proxy planets (whatever that means). The mod maker says it's done in this way, because voxels in SE can't move.

Oh they do? I though they only orbited each other without rotating along their axis.

There's no point, this mod is redundant with Real Solar Systems.
The planets already rotate with that mod.

Is it possible to use this mod along with the real solar system mod (mod that makes planets orbit a Star and each other) and with the real orbits mod (that makes the gravity falloff of planets equal 2 (inversely proportional to distance squared)) or does it cause any know bugs?

No you cannot remove a planet while this mod is active. You can disable the mod then remove the planet and its clone then restart with the mod re-enabled. And yes mods that modify GPS may make GPS duplication appear. I'm hoping to come up with a resolution for that but no luck so far.

This mod seems to create GPS coordinates of any grid orbiting a planet every 4 seconds or so. Pretty soon I have hundreds of coordinates that lags and crashes the game. I will see if this is because of a conflict with the "real orbits" mod.
