Expanded Foodtank Cargo

Description
Introduction & Description
This mod adds a bunch of new cargoes to the Cargo Market for the Foodtank and various other ownable "enclosed" trailers. I personally felt that the Foodtank was useless. There are so few cargoes for it and many cities don't even have cargo for it to begin with, so you often end up driving hundreds of miles empty trying to find the next Foodtank cargo to haul. Realistic to a point? Sure. But personally, that's just not fun. The severe lack of cargo is also not fun. Hence, this mod.

Do note that some cities will still not have any cargo at all for the Foodtank, even if you ended up delivering a Foodtank cargo to such a city. I can't really help it. Some cities just don't have the requisite companies for outbound cargoes, and I will not get so unrealistic to a point that you're hauling something like Grape Juice out from a market in a tanker. That's just not a thing IRL. I'm sorry.

Features
The mod adds 19 new cargoes for the Foodtank, 2 new cargoes for the Fueltank and Chemtank, and 23 new cargoes for various "enclosed" ownable trailers. I have also attempted to set up proper "production chains" that span from Foodtank, Fueltank, and Chemtank to "Enclosed" trailers (Box, Curtainside, etc). Each new cargo also has custom-made icons, excluding the 'Plums' cargo. The 'Plums' cargo icon is from ETS2.

The new cargoes and their compatible trailers are listed below. This should be obvious, but I feel a need to clarify anyways because the cargoes for both trailer types share icons, which is addressed in the Sidenotes below... Cargoes not in a Foodtank are "processed and packaged" cargoes, or in other words, safe to consume and ready to be delivered to markets.

* Coconut Oil
* Distilled Water

Sidenotes:
The Recycled Water and Waste Water cargoes are marked as ADR (HAZMAT) Class 6 since they are considered "poisonous". Waste Water should be clear as to why. For Recycled Water, since it is "non-potable" (not safe to consume) I've marked it as ADR Class 6 to be safe. Couldn't find any concrete info on that one. Anyways, you'll need the ADR Class 6 skill before those loads show up. I cannot seem to get the Class 6 HAZMAT placards for these two cargoes to show up on the Chemtankers. I'm at a loss for how it works. Any advice is appreciated, but honestly, it's not a critical issue. I'm fine leaving it placard-less.

Yes, I do know that hauling cargo like "Waste Water" immediately after hauling, say, Hydrochloric Acid, Diesel, etc, is not realistic as there would be cross-contamination between the loads. However, it's just a game and sadly, the game does not have any systems in place to address such a thing.

The icons for all of the cargoes are the same between the Foodtank and "Enclosed" trailers. Why? I dunno. Part laziness, part not really knowing what to do for the Foodtank versions of the cargoes I guess. I had originally just used a generic "water drop" icon and recolored it to match each cargo, but I felt it wasn't good enough and even lazier than just using the new icons I made for each cargo.

TruckersMP Compatibility
This mod is obviously NOT compatible with TruckersMP as this mod contains entirely custom cargo files.

Credits
SCS Software - Game files & tools necessary to make this mod happen.
Gdog900 - Endlessly encouraging me to keep trying to make a cargo mod every time I previously failed and wanted to give up. Also for helping me bug test and troubleshoot the mod during development. There were some bugs, that I firmly believe, I would have never figured out without their help. Also a huge "Thank you" for letting me use his custom cargo models for the containers to add support for the Flatbed & Dropdeck Container Loads mod.

A: Are you sure it's the cargo itself and not another mod? Does the game.log list the cargo as the cause (generally whatever error was the last or next to last in the log is the crash cause).

B: If it is the cargo, is it just the Waste Water cargo or do other cargoes from this mod cause it?

I don't have time to test myself as I have an event to go to soon, but report back with those answers and I'll look into it when I have time.

I will have an update out within the next week or two to support Iowa companies. Waiting for cooler weather and a flood advisory to expire.

:1033:BIG UPDATE!:1033:
This post will be in two parts.

v9.0 of the mod is live supporting Missouri and making a host of changes. Read the changelog for full details, but the short of it is this:
- Added support for companies that the mod was missing from previous DLC and base game states. This will be an ongoing effort pending future additions/changes from SCS. Likely if other states get reworks like Cali did. Looking at you Nevada and Arizona
- Lots of new companies throughout the map supported, chiefly, a bunch of gas stations. I wasn't aware they were added as deliverable companies. Full list of all new companies supported in changelog.
Sanguinem Luna  [author] 5 May @ 10:20am
- Expanded Recycled and Waste Water cargo back to the Food and Fuel trailers to help availability and viability. Last change to them unless SCS adds new trailers those cargoes could be transported in.
- Further inflated cargo availability. Added Recycled and Waste Water cargoes to some warehouses. May or may not make sense, just trying to expand availability for these trailers while SCS is lacking. Might do the same for food items to non-food markets.
- Temporarily removed support for Flatbed & Dropdeck Container Loads mod, pending that mod getting updates. New cargo loading system broke it. Gdog is aware that mod is broken, it will get updated when he has time, don't bug him about it.

Add an edit button for mod comments, Steam. Seriously, it's 2025. WTF

Yeah, I figured that would be the case. This has models from an integrated/required mod called "Flatbed & Dropdeck Container Loads" that adds containers/sea-cans to the flatbed and dropdeck trailers, since that is a thing IRL (it's not common but it can and has been done). With the new cargo loading system for visual loads (flatbeds, dropdecks, lowboys), these models broke/are no longer compatible.

Sadly, I can't fix it unless the integrated mod gets an update. However, since it sounds like your game didn't crash, its no big worry as far as I can tell. You'll just have an empty, heavy trailer when taking those loads for now.

@Sanguinem Luna i used this yesterday with a dry van & dropdeck trailers and had 1 issue with the dropdeck. the cargo market offered a load of apple juice which i thought was wierd but i tried it anyway. as expected it didn't show on the traler after loading. all other loads i tried worked though. hope this helps.
