Here on Steam, sales regularly happen. I shouldn't need to explain that to y'all. And on occasion on the Steam Store, the folks up top make a cool banner art for the sale season. Come late 2019… (dear glados in michigan how has it been that long already)


Again, I shouldn't need to explain the concept of a Steam Sale to you, so let's talk about this instead; the 2019 Steam Autumn Sale banner was really cool, in my opinion. Exudes a chill vibe. So, 1.7 years later, after the fact, here's a map inspired by it. If there's an original artist to the banner art to be credited, well, pretend there's a credit in this line of text you are presently reading. ….okay!

Map features included:
~ A small shop plaza based after the 2019 Autumn Sale banner
~ The central shop does not come stocked, you must do that yourself
~ A smaller restaurant pod/booth off to the side, complete with breakable windows and a closable shutter, as well as openable drawers/cabinets
~ Some extra filler shops
~ Maybe the map is good for prop hunt
~ A secret room that toggles a small number of features
~ Everything in this map was made without adding any additional resources specifically for this map
~ This map is mostly ground-noded

To access the secret room this time, aim high for that which glows, and following after, the orange shall point the way.

It's a small, niche sort of thing, but maybe some of y'all would be interested in this. I certainly had it on the burner for long enough, certainly spent enough time working on it. So, have a go at it, why not. Hopefully the next Steam Sale will be merciful on your wallets.
