Northern Europe 1066 A.D. (large provinces)

Description
NOTE: This is the "large provinces" version of this map.

---Introduction:
England's throne is ripe for the taking, following the death of Edward the Confessor in 1066 A.D.

Will you fill the shoes of William the Conqueror, and lead your Normans to victory over the Anglo-Saxon forces of king Harold Godwinson?
Or will you follow in the footsteps (and longships) of Harald Hardrada, and set off to invade Northumbria and claim the throne for yourself?
Better yet, defend England as king Harold from all would be invaders, and add those defiant celtic lands to your new kingdom.

---Setting:
This scenario allows you to play out the events surrounding the year 1066. The map offers the whole of what is now known as Great Britain, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, the Low Countries, the north of France, and several parts of Germany.

---Features:
All provinces and bodies of water have been given historically accurate names and dimensions. There are numerous coastal bodies and several larger seas. Each province consists of roughly between 18 and 36 hexes. The total map size is 30x30 hexes.

It very interesting, thank you. Best of success with the Mythos.

Thank you, Kazeck! There's nothing wrong with playing a crazy wizard. On this map, maybe you could play a celtic druid or some Merlin-esque wizard? I am currently working on a custom Mythos for these historic maps. This mythos will be themed around 'early medieval' religions- including Christian, Norse, and Pictish/Celtic deities!

Pretty cool, I of course intend to play a crazy wizard, but I like the concept and mucking around on a historical map with historical cultures is interesting!
