No, the aesthetics of both "Haydee" games are not necessarily the ones you have to stick with: "Haydee" and "Haydee 2" were released here on Steam between the initial transition period that allowed adult content. Its gameplay and surroundings are rather abstract, clinical even - like a more violent version of "Portal" or "Mirror's Edge". There's no narrative or fiction to speak of.
From both artistic and emotional points of view, It all comes down to fantasizing about the character you actually play with when neglecting its cruel or mechanistic aspects. And then there's the case of the original license holders for those potential characters of course. Yet curiously it seems, when it comes down to "Haydee" and looking from the standpoint of an outside spectator (in corresponding communities usually hatefully deemed "leecher") those concerns are rather secondary compared to publicised fights between propably various actual or possible content creators (modders).
Anyways, most content is removed now. And this collection is my contribution to the worthwhile mods that are still here.
