Description
Aiming to provide a more interesting playthrough as Trade League Leader.

I'm not actively working on this mod at the moment, waiting to see changes to Merchant Republic hopefully in upcoming patch

Features
Trade Prowess
New mechanics for Trade League Leader similar to HRE Imperial Authority (accessible through decision tab). Can be used to pass Trade League Reforms or used to carry out initiative that will grant timed modifier. Reforms can be enacted in any order.

Common Territory
New subject type available for Trade League Leader that could significantly increase trade node's trade value. The subject however is severely limited in governing capacity, has heavy malus in province trade power, and experiences higher development based liberty desire.
It does not use diplomatic relationship and only consider own strength in determining liberty desire. Any additional Common Territory after the first one requires three Trade League members to support.

Trading City Trade Development
New decisions that allows Trading City to create a Trading Office and eventually a Center of Trade (toggleable).

Prohibit Trading City Colonization
Modifier to eliminate colonist and force change expansion and exploration idea groups.

Reform and Integrate Trade League Members
New diplomatic actions to change members government to Trading City and to integrate the Trading City into the nation (toggleable).

New Events
Various events tied to enacted Trade League Reform(s) and active initiative(s).

Compatibility
Requires Mare Nostrum DLC
Compatible with any mods that does not fiddle with Trade League
Support Trade Goods Expanded
Not Ironman Compatible
Made in version 1.32.2

Hello,i have a question want to ask you , i want to write a mod to make a very big trade league , but when the mumber of cities more then 5 it will have a -10 factor to stop citys to join my trade league , how can i change it or fix it? i have seen that in your mode you can add 7 city in to trade league without -10 factor punishment ,how can i change this number? thank you

I haven't test it myself, but due to the way this is modded, it's likely to work fine.

This mod doesn't change that. Tho I remember a trading city in a trade league doesn't get taken into account for the penalty...

Thanks for the answer! Really looking forward to your next mod. I have another question: It seems that you have modified the acceptance penalty wich increases for every trade league member. I currently have 18 members and new candidates have only a -70 penalty. Since I'm playing with a mod that adds a bunch of tags/provinces I would like to increse that threshhold a bit. Could you just tell me in which file that stat can be changed?

Hi schnaizl, "might be good to create Trade Cities in Provinces with high trade power, and Common Territory where there are high-value trade goods", that was indeed the idea behind the mod. Make Trading City in some CoT/estuary and turn the rest to Common Territory.

I gotta say that this mod is indeed pretty OP... Atm I'm making another mod that expand on Trade League / Trading City that i hope is better designed and not as complex.

Hey, I'm just trying out your mod and I like it so far. Do you have any advice on how to use Common Territory and Trade Cities, respectively? I never bothered much with trade cities, but since they become league members and those boost the Common Territories trade value, they might have some merit now? As I see it, it might be good to create Trade Cities in Provinces with high trade power, and Common Territory where there are high-value trade goods?

@MP4 I haven't try the mod with ET. Though, this mod doesn't change any vanilla file. I'll assume if ET doesn't tweak Trade League, this mod should work.
