Description
**** NOTE: This Sub is in final testing before I release it. It is still in a Beta state though, so additional changes may randomly come to the sub. Leave a comment if you'd like to see certain changes done, and they will be considered (though not all will be implemented, they will be considered).****

I've started to use a version release code for the sub while it's in playtest version. The release codes will be set up as such;

vXX.YY.ZZ

v = Version
XX = Major release (expect this to stay 00 until out of playtest).
YY = Functionality changes, such as adding completely new features to the sub.
ZZ = Aesthetic changes and bug fixes (such as wiring up power to a pump that was missed).


Using reverse-engineered technology from a wrecked Valhalla Shipyard's Iroh, Hades Shipyard was able to build the Anubis. A submarine designed to hunt pirates and other submarines. Utilizing the Iroh's water shield technology the Anubis was built with a moon pool allowing rapid deployment of boarding troops. Hades also incorporated their prototype Charon Canon, a forward fixed rail gun that's tied to the nav computer and able to fire two rounds (1 from each loader) per activation. In addition, the Anubis comes equipped with a state-of-the-art reactor control system, in-line automated battery backup, ballast flora response system, and stealth mode that drops the reactor to zero fission and limits the engine to 25% power making the Anubis virtually silent.

The sub is made of all vanilla parts, no additional mods are required.

v00.05.07 - Anubis should now be complete. Doing some final bug checks before releasing the sub. Let me know if anyone has any issues or final ideas for the sub. Thanks.

So as of v0.05.06 I think everything is functionally complete, and all that needs to be done is cleaning up the wiring. If there are additional changes people would like me to consider or bugs in the sub that you've found, please mention them here. Thank you.

Once I finish cleaning up the wiring I'll release the sub at 1.0 (unless bugs are found, then those will be fixed first).

So I just uploaded [Sielle] Anubis - v00.01.00 and going forward each upload will increment the versioning, so you can go back to older copies if you want, or simply delete all the older ones and new ones come out.

Yes i also used the Rail against Molochs and i hitted them several times.
It works great because the ship is fast and agile.

Yea, mods would be easier, but I wanted to keep it vanilla. Maybe I'll eventually make a non-vanilla one once I've finished with this version.

I found that the rail gun actually works well against molochs and subs at least. Was hitting over 75% of the time. (Played with the sub in a multiplayer game tonight for a few hours).

The EK gunnery heavy railgun or fixed rail seems perfect, but staying vanilla is a big plus.

Problem is, anything big enough to use it on really doesn't stay in front reliably at all. And nuke shells are almost always more dangerous to yourself than any enemy with bots or idiot players. XD

Glad to hear you're liking it so far. I'm going to be doing a lot of updates to it, but anything that isn't graphical or aesthetic will be noted in the update notes (and major changes here in the comments). If anyone has feedback, I'm always willing to listen. :)

This Ship is so far my Favorite!
Its Medium sized and isnt so overpowered like other Ships out there.

I also used the Charon Dual Railgun on a Moloch so far and is was GREAT! Thanks Sielle :)
Anyone should try it :)
