Please load this mod after the Animal Gear mod and any mods you have that add animals.

Mod Contents

This mod adds collars for dogs and other canines. Currently adds four collars:

Dog Bow - A pretty little neck bow for dogs and other canines. It doesn't provide much protection, but it's a bit better than nothing at all. Plus, it's cute!
Leather Dog Collar - A simple leather collar for dogs and other canines. It provides some protection for the neck.
Studded Dog Collar - A leather dog collar reinforced with metal studs for added protection.
Shield Dog Collar -Like the shield belt for humans, a dog collar that can generate a shield to protect against projectiles

Known Issues and Other Things of Note

For huge dogs like Fenrir and Garmr, the bubble graphic from the shield generator doesn't fully cover them. The effect still works though.

Some of the other larger or longer dogs get "cut off" when using collars (Like the palamute loses its nose). I think it's from some image size problems? It also happens inconsistently so I'm really lost on this one. :(

If a collar is stored in deep storage (from the deep storage mod), your dogs may not be able to put the collar on. Move the collar to a regular storage spot and they should be able to equip it. I suppose dogs aren't good at using shelves and things.

If you have a request for a dog mod you'd like collars for, a link to the workshop page would help me out. I can usually find things on my own but it makes things a little easier.

idea suggestion: The collars should give a tameness decay offset so that tamed animals with collars stay trained more easily.

Does the shield collar block outgoing ranged attacks, such as the Nightling's quill attack?

my spidercamp's dog pack (continued) afghan hound does not want to equip his studded leather collar for some reason. i wonder if the continued mod is incompatible, despite the mod working fine in 1.5 otherwise
