"Ahh damn it, I can't take losing anymore people."

Dec 29, 1944 – Feb 13, 1945...

Following Adolf Wulf and his "GrossGruppen"...

There used to be 8,000, then 4,000, then just whoever is left. We just barely escaped that hellhole with the Russians still tailing us. The only hope is to keep going west regardless of what high command says. The only hope for us now is to keep this pass open long enough for people to get through.

It won't be easy. We have only a few tanks... the Russians may have more. We can do this, however! The Russians are weak and exposed with their armored vanguards way ahead of us. We will link up with any units ahead and continue pushing across to the Elbe river. There should be a small force of paratroopers that broke off from the main force. We can regroup with them before attacking and these "refugees" can help reinforce our numbers. Other than that it is all up to our training. The war will be over soon so let's not give up hope yet. For Glory!

Orders

In this battle, you will control an inferior numerical force trying to control the small village pass. More Russians will arrive the longer you fight. There is only one ammunition box but the men are well equipped from countless battles. The battle must be won decisively!

"Angel" must be protected at all costs. She's our only working tank destroyer on this front. We can use the t-38 to do some support but other than that it's up to us again. Angel's tank crews got us this far so we should help them get across west.

There are some guns in the forest the Russians have been firing. Whoever they're shelling it's up to us to silence them and perhaps seize them for ourselves. Killing both officers will stop the Russians from organizing themselves. Kill any man carrying radios or anti-tank rifles.

Protect our gruppenfurher Adolf Wulf. He will keep morale strong enough for us to get through the day...

Gameplay

This mission gets better the harder it is. Turn on fog and turn up the difficulty to experience the late eastern front.

Rushing the village will be impossible but staying still will be deadly as well. It is up to you how the battle turns out...

The Russians know we are here. We cannot hide from them.

Battlefeild tips

The paratroopers have with them a SS officer who can scout areas with his binoculars. This is extremely helpful so keep him alive!

Their are secret caches from the previous defense containing very good loot...

Dead bodies will be our main source of ammunition...

More Russians will arrive to take their revenge. We must be swift.
