Retextures and additions to the animalist style.

Compatibility
should be save game compatible and not conflict with any other mods. Where other mods also affect the animalist style, the load order dictates which textures are used.

Known Issues
Texture masks aren't applying to item icons, yet apply properly when worn. Not sure if this is something I've done wrong or a problem with how styles overwrite textures?

FAQ

Q: How do I acquire the Monosword?
A: Yeah... I had the realisation after drawing it. At the moment it can only be obtained through changing thing style in dev mode.

Q: Can X texture be removed/separated?
A: I understand that it's possible to create mod options so textures can be toggled, though can't say I know how. If I figure it out I'll add it, otherwise the StyleCategoryDefsAnimalist.xml in patches can be edited to remove certain textures.

Q: Are you going to cover other styles?
A: Thats the plan! Looks like I'll be doing morbid next, then probably techist.

Q: Are you going to add X to this style?
A: I do intend to revisit some stuff in the future. It's just, if I spend too long on this style, I'm afraid of what could awaken within me.

@Bodacious Cowboy Not sure about the broader issue since AM is a complex mod with code, but at first glance both mods are overwriting the same weapons thingDef with their own stuff, they are in that sense trying to do the same to the same items, and whichever mod is loaded lower in the list is going to win. Try placing alpha memes below this one and see what happens.

Anyone know how to get this and Alpha Memes working together? Currently having them both installed stops me from styling weapons with the Alpha Meme textures. Even ones that aren't added by this mod.

Nice, you cna also jsut edit the about xml to have the version 1.5 and you are good 2 mins and it's done

Its a retexture mod. Its never going to stop working unless the vanilla texture paths change. It will probably never outright break anything even if they do.

I do agree its quite a shame they never worked on any other styles, though. This is still probably the best style retexture and expansion I've seen, and not a lot of people work on those at all that I've seen. Alpha Memes expands most / all of them, but... I really don't like most of them.

It works fine. Just update mod file manually to 1.5 it annoys you to see it considered incompatible.
