Моды не изменяет настройки игры, даёт множество вспомогательных элементов для упрощения ознакомления с механиками игры, администрирования/модерирования сервера (и облегчения особенно сложных для изучения элементов геймплея), не добавляет дополнительного контента.
Исключения:
Find Your Blueprints - который меняет геймплей, убирая научную и алхимическую машину, и рецепты теперь можно получить собирая ресурсы и убивая монстров
Chaos Tricks - мод для интерактива на твиче, есть множество событий которых нет в основном геймплее
