Description
This is a high-volume trash bin designed to look like a trash chute. This resemblence is merely cosmetic, as it still requires a basement-level trash room to function properly. However, because the capacity is high, it takes quite a while to become full.

Unlike a real trash chute, it does not need to be stacked vertically (I wasn't sure if I could force stacking for this unit the same way you can for elevators).

There is no way within Project Highrise to mod a room that collects both trash and recycling. The in-game recycling bin is one tile wide (compared to the trash bin, which is two tiles wide), but as people have requested a matching recycling chute, I've made one. Costs 40 to build and produces only minimal smell.

**Remember that after you subscribe to mods, you must enable them in the game. Mods are not automatically enabled in Project Highrise.**

Per requests below I have created a recycling chute (does such a thing even exist in the real world?). Ah that sucks, but I would still love a recycle one so they both look consistent because now they kinda look out of place together

I could do another one for recycling (though the in-game recycling is already 1 tile wide). However, due to how the game designers coded trash / recycling it's unfortunately not actually possible to combine both functions into the same unit.

It would be easy enough to do, but vanilla recycling is already one tile wide and doesn't seem to fill up as quickly as the vanilla trash... It's just too bad that there's no way to combine trash and recycling into the same room.

Yes, I think that in the real world, a trash chute would probably (at most) be smell neutral and likely still produce some odor. At some point I'll see if I can do a series of 1x1 tiles that reduce noise / odor. Will see if I can place them in the deco section as kind of highrise fillers.
